The Research Institute for Multilingualism and Language Policy (E.I.POL) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens advances interdisciplinary research on multilingualism and language policy. Bringing together expertise from sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, discourse analysis, applied and educational linguistics. and language technology, E.I.POL promotes research-informed educational innovation. Through its Multilingualism Observatory and Languages-in-Education Centre, it collects and analyzes data, supports plurilingual pedagogies, informs language policy development, and fosters collaboration across Greece and Europe.
