The Department of English Language & Literature at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens is one of the largest academic units within the School of Philosophy offering an interdisciplinary undergraduate programme in English language, theoretical and applied linguistics, Brish, US and Anglophone literatures and cultures. Instruction and evaluation are conducted entirely in English, preparing students for varied intellectual and professional challenges. The Department also promotes international exchange through bilateral agreements and mobility schemes with European universities, giving students opportunities to study abroad.
